Summer 2025: Freedom - The Journey Begins

Freedom is not arbitrarily doing whatever one wishes. The direction of true freedom is pointed towards happiness.
— Rev. Sun Myung Moon

2025 summer check point. Full of joy, full of growth, full of new friendships.

This summer we focused on understanding and practicing our freedom. We came back to what the Divine Principle clarifies:

True freedom comes within the realm of the Principle

True freedom comes with responsibility

True freedom must come with accomplishment

How amazing is this?

I pray that all of you will become the blessed families that, together with me, will create a greater, higher and broader environment in which people can attend Heavenly Parent.

Reflections from Participants: What did you gain from this workshop?

“The biggest treasure that I have gained from this workshop is understanding that I am free - free to share my problems, free to express emotions, ask for suggestions or for someone to listen and support me. Every time I grow my courage and have the opportunity to see who I actually can be and strive to become. I gained so, so much support and love. Thank you!” [sister participant]

“I realized a lot of things, and after this workshop I’m 99% sure about what God wants from me, what’s my future.” [brother participant]

“Hope for a better future with my family and in school, more faith, a looot of motivation, knowledge. I gained love. Thank you!” [sister participant]

“I gained valuable memories and moments that will stay with me till the next experience of such scale. Each time I will think about this workshop, a big, joyful smile will appear on my face. I gained many new friends and also a better understanding of Moses’ story and the word “FREEDOM”.” [brother participant]

“How to really see the beauty in myself. I could really feel how strong I was on this workshop.” [sister participant]

“I realized that knowledge without love will not convince anyone to join our movement. Also, I got motivation/goal to become a promised land in my school and home, so I will give love more. Also, I liked Andy’s example with the game that has no rules and is boring after 5 minutes.” [brother participant]

“Deep friendships, new experiences, hope for this movement.” [sister participant]

“The workshop was great. It shows how much you guys work for it, how much you compromise yourself. It really makes this whole week more precious and intimate. Seeing you care so much, treating it with such love is an important aspect of this experience. Thank you.” [sister participant]

“I realized that the love I can give to brothers/sisters is actually valuable. Sometimes a simple hug or going up to people helps a lot, more than I think.” [brother team leader]

“I’ve learned a lot about how different we are and everyone is amazing in their own way. Also a lot of patience, empathy, and I feel like I’ve come closer to understanding God’s heart and how he loves us all.” [brother team leader]

“Sense of responsibility and deeper understanding of allowing HP to be truly free.” [sister team leader]

“I gained very resourceful experiences about being responsible for others and especially my team. I learned to rely more on others but also not to delegate too much so that I still have my part to do. I learned how to let go of negative feelings for the sake of my team, and so learned little by little to not impose my feelings on others especially if it’s not related to them. I learned to be more patient when people open up to me slowly so that they can feel free when sharing. I learned/gained more self-consciousness about others.” [sister team leader]

“During Andy’s lecture I felt inspired to tell an old friend of mine who reached out to me that I found God since we stopped talking.” [brother team leader]

We couldn’t have done this without our sponsor. The 55 people present at the workshop were financially supported by the FFWPU EUME HQ, Sammy Uyama, and Martha & Christoph Kral. Thank you again for your generous donations!
